Ioanna Anastasopoulou participated as a speaker at a Conference which was held on October 1st, 2022, by the student-run association “Just in Case” and hosted by the Athens Bar Association. Her speech addressed the topic “Fraud against the financial interests of the European Union”.
14th National Conference of the Hellenic Society of Criminal Law
Ioanna Anastasopoulou participated as a speaker at the 14th National Conference of the Hellenic Society of Criminal Law, which was entitled: “The General Part of the New Criminal Code and its Subsequent Amendments: Progress or Regression?”. Her speech focused on “The impact of the International Criminal Law on the new Greek Criminal code”. The Conference, which was staged in memory of Nikolaos Androulakis, took place on June 3rd-5th, 2022.
11th National Conference of the Association of Greek Lawyers “e-Themis” on “The Most Significant Legislative Developments during the Health Crisis”
Ioanna Anastasopoulou participated as a speaker at the 11th National Conference of the Association of Greek Lawyers “e-Themis”. The Conference, which was held in collaboration with the Kalamata Bar Association, addressed “The Most Significant Legislative Developments During the Health Crisis” and took place on October 22nd-23rd, 2021. Her speech was entitled “Thoughts on arrest in the context of the arrestable offences procedure, prompted by the no. 11/2021 circular of the Public Prosecution Office of the Greek Supreme Court”.
Conference of the European and International Criminal Law Institute
Ioanna Anastasopoulou participated as a speaker at a Conference held by the European and International Criminal Law Institute on the new Criminal Code, addressing the topic “Embezzlement under the new Criminal Code” on January 11th, 2020.
The New Criminal Code and the New Code of Criminal Procedure – Athens Bar Association colloquium
In light of the effectiveness, from July 1, 2019, of the new Codes (Criminal Code and Code of Criminal Procedure), Ioanna Anastasopoulou presented a paper at the Athens Bar Association colloquium on The New Criminal Code and the New Code of Criminal Procedure. Her paper addressed “Abstention from prosecution under article 48 of the Code of Criminal Procedure”, on July 25th, 2019.
