Ioanna Anastasopoulou is Assistant Professor of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the School of Law, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Ioanna has an excellent record when it comes to dealing with demanding and high-profile criminal cases. She has handled a number of significant criminal cases covering a wide range of mostly white-collar offences.
Ioanna has been a member of the Delegation of the Ministry of Justice in the Greek Presidency of the European Union (2014) and Counselor of the General Secretariat of the Greek Government (2009). She has sat on the Board of the Hellenic Criminal Bar Association since July 2016. She has published in German, English and Greek on matters of European and international criminal law and has presented papers on business and financial crimes, criminal procedure and human rights at numerous conferences. Ioanna is a member of the Athens Bar Association, the Hellenic Criminal Bar Association, the Hellenic Society of Criminal Law, and the European Criminal Bar Association.
